Terms of Service

Effective date: October 29, 2026

Acceptance

These terms apply to www.jerbix.site, its account services, and Jerbix source-code products, operated under the name Jerbix ("we" or "us"). Read these terms and the Privacy Policy before registering or buying. If you disagree, do not register or purchase. You must have the legal capacity to enter the transaction and, when buying for an organisation, authority to act on its behalf.

Product, pricing, and delivery

Jerbix is a SaaS source-code starter that you can deploy and customise. The current standard product costs 99 USD as a one-time payment, including the complete product source code, free updates, and lifetime support, with no automatic renewal. The amount, currency, applicable taxes, and discounts shown and accepted at checkout govern your order. Later price changes do not alter completed orders.

Stripe processes payments. After confirming payment, we provide instructions for accessing the source through the account and email associated with your order. If delivery information does not arrive or access fails, contact us with your order information so we can investigate and resend it.

The price excludes your own domain, Cloudflare resources, email, payment processing, and other third-party running costs. You must configure, test, and adapt the source to your business. A purchase does not include custom development, managed hosting, or any earnings guarantee.

Source-code licence and third-party materials

The supplied source code is governed by the MIT License included in its repository. Under that licence you may use, copy, modify, publish, distribute, sublicense, and sell the source and copies, while retaining the applicable copyright and permission notices. These terms do not narrow or replace rights granted by that licence.

Third-party dependencies, fonts, images, trademarks, and other materials remain subject to their own licences or rights notices. A source-code licence does not by itself grant rights to Jerbix branding, domains, or third-party trademarks. Update access and human support are services provided to purchasers; receiving a redistributed source-code copy does not automatically create a purchase entitlement to those services from us.

Updates and support

"Free updates" means that later publicly released source updates for the purchased product carry no additional charge. It does not promise particular features, release dates, or compatibility with every third-party change. You choose whether to upgrade and should back up and test your modifications first.

"Lifetime support" means that product-use support included in this purchase has no preset expiry and requires no annual renewal. It covers installation, configuration, explanations of existing features, and defect reports through the support email. It excludes custom development, deployment performed for you, ongoing operations, troubleshooting your modified business code, and resolving third-party outages. No fixed response time or round-the-clock service is promised.

If service arrangements change, we will reasonably notify affected purchasers and address outstanding order obligations. Changes to these terms cannot retroactively remove purchased entitlements.

Refunds and order issues

Source code is reproducible digital content. Once the source has been delivered or access has been provided, we generally do not offer voluntary refunds for a change of mind, lack of further need, or personal technical preferences.

Duplicate charges, failure to deliver after payment, and refunds required by applicable law are exceptions. Before delivery, you may contact us to cancel and request a refund. Provide your purchase email, order reference, and an explanation; do not send full card numbers or security codes. Approved refunds are processed through the original payment method, with settlement timing determined by the payment institutions.

These terms do not exclude statutory withdrawal, cancellation, repair, or other consumer rights. Any disclosures or separate consent required by applicable law must be handled under those rules.

Accounts and acceptable use

Accounts verify identity, record orders, and manage site features. Use an email address that can receive verification messages and keep passwords and API keys secure. Change compromised credentials and contact us promptly about unauthorised access or purchases.

Do not impersonate others, access their data, commit fraud, distribute malicious content, or interfere with the service, scan systems, or bypass access restrictions without authorisation. Report security concerns through the support email. You are responsible for the sites you deploy, the data you process, and compliance of your own business.

We may impose proportionate restrictions for suspected abuse, including immediate protective restrictions where necessary, and explain them where appropriate. These measures do not revoke open-source rights already lawfully obtained or remove outstanding delivery or refund obligations.

Data and third-party services

The Privacy Policy explains our handling of account, order, and email information. Third-party services have their own terms, prices, and availability. We cannot promise they will remain unchanged, free, or continuously available.

Disclaimers and liability

The source is provided "as is" under its licence. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee that it is defect-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every business. Assess and test it before production use and maintain backups.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost anticipated profit, or losses caused by your own modifications and operations. No limitation applies where the law prohibits it, or excludes fraud, intentional misconduct, or consumer rights that cannot be waived.

Termination, changes, and disputes

You may stop using the site and request account deletion from the account Security page. Deletion may remove access to account order views and services. It does not affect an existing source-code licence or obligations already arising under law.

Updates to these terms and their effective date will appear here. Material changes affecting existing purchase entitlements will also be notified through the site or registered email and handled under applicable law. Contact support first to seek an agreed resolution of a dispute. If unresolved, either party may seek relief from a legally competent body. These terms do not select an exclusive jurisdiction or restrict statutory complaint or court rights.
